PROFESSIONAL STATEMENT

Christina Kulp, LCSW, ACHP-SW, APHSW-C:

Christina is a master’s level graduate of Marywood University School of Social Work and has worked in the geriatric, non-profit and healthcare fields for over 20 years. She is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of PA.  Christina also has post-graduate certificates in Gerontology, and Palliative/End of Life Care. She is specialty credentialed by NASW in Advanced Hospice and Palliative Social Work. She also participated in the item writing committee for the research-based advance certification in Palliative and Hospice Social Work.  She participated in the first testing cohort last year and was one approximately 120 recipients nationally of the APHSW-C.

Christina has presented in National and State conferences and is currently the Director of Field Education in Marywood University’s MSW Programs for Lehigh Valley and Pocono campuses.  She is also in her second year of the Doctor of Social Work program at Kutztown and Millersville Universities.  Past work history includes case management, dialysis social work, counseling (individual and group), psychiatric evaluation services, and social service director at a local skilled nursing facility.
