Greetings!  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained my degree from Marywood University’s Graduate School of Social Work.  My undergraduate education was completed at Cedar Crest College, with dual majors in Psychology and Sociology.  

 

I have provided counseling in many settings including the geriatric, non-profit and healthcare fields, for over 18 years. I also hold post-graduate certificates in Gerontology, & Palliative/End of Life Care. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in social work through Kutztown and Millersville Universities. 

 

I believe in building a solid therapeutic relationship based on trust and respect and use a variety of techniques, building from a strengths-based perspective to help foster understanding, coping and change. My eclectic therapeutic techniques often include CBT, Motivational, and Mindfulness approaches, individualized in relation to each client’s need.  I also specialize in grief and bereavement counseling.
